DOG SLEDDING

Muddy Paw Sled Dog Kennel is a kennel comprised of 86 sled dogs, ranging from racing Alaskan Huskies, to more traditional breeds like Siberians and Malamutes. When a dog comes into their kennel it has a home for life. Most of their dogs are retired sled dogs that end up as couch potatoes in their home or the home of one of the mushers who work there.

There are day trips and overnights as well as special occasion rides and tours. Their website gives all the details you will need. Check it out.

They also have dogs for adoption and will place a dog in a new forever-family if it is in the best interests of the dog. There is a comprehensive adoption process when adopting a dog including an application, references, and a personal interview. Since many of the dogs are second chance or rescue dogs, they want to be sure they go to the best home possible.
