pet friendly legend

Welcome to New Hampshire’s adventure capital! At every step you’ll find fun family attractions, activities and views to make your trip to the White Mountains a memory of a lifetime. This adventure guide is meant to show you parts of NH’s North Country that you might not otherwise hear about or see. Local favorite views, hikes, fun MT. bike routes, and XC ski trails.…. basically, what we think are some of the best kept secrets that will make your vacation to the White Mountains memorable. The businesses advertising in this guide take great pride in the products and services they sell. They want you to keep coming back to our beautiful state and so do we!

Not all hikes or routes described are shown on this map, but if you follow the written directions you should find them just fine. We’ve also drawn some on the maps that we haven’t written descriptions for. Look in the legend box on each map for icons. Each year we’ll give you new ideas of where to go & what to do while visiting NH’s White Mountains.

Use common sense and know your limitations. Be aware of safety regulations as they pertain to your activities. Break for moose when you see them by the side of the road and please, please don’t get out of your car to take a picture of them. There is a reason they are called wild animals!

Be safe, play hard, and go home with only good memories.
